Peace Day Campaign is very pleased to announce that Eamonn Holmes, one of the most recognized faces and voices in broadcasting as became an ambassador for for the campaign.

Eamonn whose journalistic career spans 30 years currently hosts the 3-hour “Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes” programme on Sky News.

Outside of his early starts, Eamonn continues to host a wide variety of programmes on all channels, in shows that will be familiar to all.

Eamonn had the following quote to share with us “As someone who grew up during the troubles I appreciate how important ‘peace’ is. Northern Ireland has come a long way in its journey of reconciliation and its essential that we do not forget this. I encourage everyone to mark the UN International Day of Peace and to remember how far we have come and how we can now look forward to a united future.”
