Why not organise your own event to mark Peace Day on 21st September?
- Groups / individuals can volunteer and provide a service to their community
- Young and old share their experiences of conflict and what peace means
- With your family, friends and neighbours participate in a minute's silence at noon on 21st September
During 2008 Springboard will carry out a range of activities, why not join us!
- Sign up to our campaign to raise awareness of Peace Day and lobby for official observance
- As Peace Day falls on a Sunday this year, encourage faith-based organisations to mark the day in their sermons or church notices
- Come to the first Peace Day Concert in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter on 21st September 08. To read full details about the concert, click here
