If you are down in Belfast today you might have the opportunity to meet Percy the Peace Day Panda. Percy will be in the city centre raising awareness of the International Day of Peace and cannot be missed, as there is a big bunch of balloons trailing behind him for the kids. Percy will be handing out balloons, fortune cookies, stickers and some of the Peace Day bookmarks that are also available in the shop.

This is part of Springboard’s awareness raising for Peace Day which will conclude on Wednesday 21st September on the International Day of Peace with an official observance in Belfast City Hall led by Rt. Hon Lord Mayor Councillor Niall O Donnghaile and the unveiling of a new Peace Day mural located between the peace-line gates in Northumberland Street.
